Co-Captain and returning middle
infielder, Deanna Beaty is one of the "our team’s most versatile players,"
says Head Coach, Beth Keylon-Randolph. Beaty, one of the team’s two
returning starters, proved herself throughout last season with a solid
defense and explosive offense that helped carry the 2002 Lady Tigers to
the Region VII Tournament Championship. In 2002, Beaty maintained two
fourteen game hitting streaks while leading the team in doubles, (22). She
batted .395 with a .622 slugging percent. Beaty had 39 RBIs and 6 home
runs. |
